Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia's Finance & Accounting Division is recruiting on behalf of a Manufacturing MNC company. Our client is seeking a commercial finance professional, with minimum 5 years of
experience in the accounting and finance line to be their Accountant. The job is based in Selangor and will report to the Finance Director.
Job Summary
The winning candidate will be assisting the Finance Director in maintaining cost reports, managing invoices, processing payments, and maintaining the overall financial health of the company.
Job Description:
- Handle accounts payable - Assist in preparing payment documents and in processing payments.
- Handle accounts receivable - Assist in preparing sales invoices and updating receipt records.
- Handle inventory billing & records - Assist in inventory purchasing and keeping track of stock balances.
- Handle full set of accounts and month end closing.
- Liaise with external auditors, company secretary and tax agents for company related matters.
- Ensure timely preparation of balance sheet schedules.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policy and procedures.
- Assist in any ad hoc assignment.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or relevant professional certification is a plus.
- At least 5 years of working experience in accounting field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word.
- Positive, organised, proactive, meticulous and responsible individual.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently.
