Monroe Consulting Group Thailand, an executive recruitment company, is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading cosmetics brand known for its quality and innovation, renowned for making a positive impact on the beauty industry. Our respected client is seeking a highly skilled HR Manager to join their team and contribute to the success of their new Bangkok office setup.

The HR Manager will be at the forefront of the business expansion into Bangkok, leading the setup the new office while driving HR strategy and functions. This role offers a unique blend of strategic leadership and hands - on involvement in a dynamic environment to shape the business success in Thailand. The job will be based in Bangkok, Thailand.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and legal requirements.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for new hires and facilitate onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date on labor laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Prepare HR-related reports and analytics for management review and decision-making purposes.
  • Conduct periodic audits of HR processes and documentation to maintain accuracy and integrity of data.
  • Oversee the payroll process, including timekeeping, payroll calculations, and disbursement of salaries and benefits.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with finance and accounting teams in regional HQ to reconcile payroll data and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

Job Requirement

  • Experience in HR management, especially in payroll administration, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Understanding of Thai labour laws and regulations, with the ability to apply them effectively.
  • Strong leadership and people skills, able to build rapport across all levels of staff.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, payroll software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in English and Thai languages is essential.
