Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a recognized leading local supplier of chemical solvents in the Philippines and across Asean countries is seeking for a Sales Professional with solid knowledge-generating new business for Chemicals as Sales Executive position. The job is based in BGC Taguig City, Philippines.
Job Summary:
The Sales Executive establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedules.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Engages in marketing intelligence ( i.e. gathering of information/data on (a) customers and their business developments; (b) demand, pricing, and buying trends of products, (c) competition ) and keeps up to date with global and local news and events to ensure the profitability of handled accounts.
- Provides reliable and timely information to colleagues, direct supervisor, and to COO.
- Develops and maintains healthy relationships with customers through regular visits, telephone calls, and email.
- Projects and monitors target volume of handled customers on a regular basis and ensure that sales target is met while maximizing gross margins.
- Obtains and processes customers' orders including pricing and sales orders preparation.
- Ensures timely collection of customers' outstanding accounts.
- Handles customer requests on amendments to current credit term/limit.
- Identifies and proposes new market and business opportunities.
- Attends to phoned-in inquiries from customers and potential customers including technical matters, preparation, and sending of quotations.
- Assists in servicing customers' requirements on credits and indents.
- Handles customer concerns/complaints and coordinates with relevant personnel/departments (including a laboratory for product quality complaints; backlogs and backloads), if necessary.
- Consistently monitors and checks the quantity of products in stock.
- Collaborates with the Supply and Operations to check on the supply and progress of existing customer(s) orders.
- Represents the company in business/industry groups' affairs, exhibits, and meetings.
- Schedules risk appraisal audit of customers' facilities and arrange safety training seminars in coordination with the HSE-Q Adviser.
- Keeps and maintains own customer's file, MSDS, technical literature, and other pertinent documents
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering Courses
- At least three (3) years work experience in Sales in Western chemicals companies or Japanese trading companies (chemicals)
- Preferably with driving experience
- Can work both independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated, hardworking, and resourceful
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and demonstration skills
- Analytical and result-driven
- Good communication, customer service, and writing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint applications
- Good moral character and strong interpersonal skills
