Strange But True

  • Publish Date: Posted 大约 12 年之前

Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia recently ran some analysis on its social media followers and discovered something strange. The majority of us would assume the industry most likely to engage with the social media platforms would be Technology. However we discovered the opposite is true, with the consumer goods sector being the most active, followed by banking & finance, then Industrial and finally Technology with just a 19% of our following being from this sector.

We have scratched our heads trying to find out why this would be and frankly we are at a loss to explain it. All our other numbers in terms of placements, revenues, CV’s & interviews place our Technology division on an equal footing, so why is the industry not engaging with us through social media? Could it be Technology professionals prefer good old fashioned people contact more than other sectors? What do you think?
