Monroe Consulting Group is pleased to announce that its corporate social responsibility program for 2014 will provide financial and other support for an Indonesian charity that provides medical support and brightens the lives of seriously ill or terminal children from poverty-stricken families.
Yayasan Mitra Anak Indonesia, also known as “Main,” which is Indonesian for “play,” is an outstanding organization that helps children and families from poor backgrounds who have nobody else to turn to in desperate times of need.
What sets Main apart from other foundations is that it is comprised of qualified paediatricians and has a clear direction to best deliver results for children in need of critical medical care. The foundation also realises that though physical health is important, so too is allowing children to be children in the face of medical trauma. Main lets “children shine,” the foundation states simply on its website.
Monroe Consulting Group, Indonesia’s leading executive recruitment company, has made an initial financial commitment of Rp 100 million ($8,841) to enable Main to continue to place smiles on the faces of children and their parents during the most trying of times. Monroe recruitment consultants have also donated their time and will visit the children to read books and provide other forms of entertainment. The Company’s first visit will be on April 12, when consultants will distribute toys they have been collecting since the beginning of the year.
