Executive Recruitment Company Monroe Consulting Group Thailand to Continue Support for Children’s Charity

  • Publish Date: Posted 大约 7 年之前

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Thailand is pleased to announce its continued sponsorship of the Bangkok-based Gift of Happiness Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides aid to vulnerable groups of poverty-stricken children and their families.

Monroe Thailand has previously helped the highly respected charity purchase a truck to transport aid supplies to at-risk children around Thailand, and provides annual funding. The Gift of Happiness Foundation, founded and run by circus entertainer Eddie Haworth, provides essential supplies for desperate families along with interactive, slap-stick comedy shows.

John Tolmie, Managing Director of Monroe Thailand, said the recruitment company had been supporting the Foundation since 2015.

“The Gift of Happiness Foundation delivers what it promises to do. It brightens the lives of poor children throughout Thailand with laughter and aid, including clothing, shoes, educational material and even sports equipment,” John said. “Monroe contributes in a small way to Eddie’s valuable cause and we are delighted to be able to continue to do so.”

Eddie said Monroe’s ongoing support had helped the Gift of Happiness Foundation to expand its abilities to distribute aid and to reach even more children living in impoverished communities in refugee camps along the Thai border or in the slums of cities.

“It’s not just about money or the important new vehicle. Monroe understands what we are trying to achieve and has helped support us in our endeavours,” Eddie said. “Last year, 35 Monroe recruitment consultants helped distribute aid for 120 underprivileged kids at a school and orphanage just north of Bangkok. This kind of support means so much to the children and their families and provides hope.”

The Gift of Happiness Foundation maintains strong child protection policies and procedures. The founder, trustees and all volunteers are screened to ensure that they meet the legal and ethical requirements for engaging with vulnerable people in Thailand. The foundation strives to provide a safe, secure environment for all the children it serves.

The founder, trustees, volunteers and administrators are unpaid and receive no other financial or in-kind benefits held by the charity. Transparent audited accounts and legal documentation are maintained by SAS Legal Group, Bangkok.
