Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia's Healthcare Division is partnered with a multinational digital healthcare company. We are hiring an Account Manager to be involved in creating, sustaining, and enhancing robust external client connections. This entails ensuring the stability of client relationships, fostering growth in current accounts, and optimizing meaningful interactions with clients within the company's network.
As a cross-functional team leader, you are anticipated to oversee medium to large-scale accounts, manage multiple accounts, or independently handle pharmaceutical accounts. This position reports to the Commercial Director.
- Oversee and provide guidance to pharmaceutical clients, cultivating a strong and enduring relationship.
- Assist pharmaceutical clients in establishing meaningful customer connections through targeted events and programs that align with client objectives.
- Interpret the client's vision and requirements into business needs, collaborate with project teams on necessary deliverables, and effectively manage client expectations.
- Foster day-to-day working relationships with Business Communication Leads.
- Ensure adherence to budget constraints and handle invoicing in accordance with contract terms.
- Gather essential client information and accurately convey it to project teams for effective project scoping.
- Project-manage internal resources at both regional and local levels for project development and timely delivery.
- Guarantee the quality of content meets customer expectations, maximizing touchpoints to reach target customer groups and achieve client goals.
- Ensure flawless execution of planned events/activities by efficiently managing both internal and external stakeholders.
- Explore opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the assigned portfolio of accounts.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing key accounts within the pharmaceutical industry.
- This role is open to individuals with experience in Sales and/or Business Development from digital agencies.
- Team player and possess willingness to learn.
- Able to manage insights development and customer profiles.
- Possess a strong track record of client relationship development and service.
- Able to negotiate and work with different departments.
