Executive recruitment company, Monroe Consulting Group Thailand is recruiting on behalf of an international hospitality. Our respected client is expanding and growing its business operation in Thailand and is looking for Accounting & Finance Manager to join the team and ensure the smooth operation of accounting and financial processes.

The Accounting & Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the finance department, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and Thai legal requirements, while maintaining accurate financial records and reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The job will be based in Phang-nga, Thailand.


Job Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly revenue forecasts, as well as quarterly and yearly projections.
  • Manage cash flow and conduct weekly cash flow forecasting.
  • Prepare and review the Monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) report for submission to the General Manager.
  • Ensure timely printing of all required reports following batch entry.
  • Analyze, conduct monthly financial statements, and provide financial insights to the General Manager.
  • Review and authorize purchase orders prior to submission to the General Manager.
  • Monitor and manage operational expenses, providing updated information to department heads for expense control purposes.
  • Create various reports including F&B statistics, golf rounds analysis, market mix, and financial reports using Excel.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations and adjustments.
  • Maintain records of company licenses and permits, submitting renewal applications promptly.
  • Establish and maintain an efficient filing system.
  • Develop the annual operating budget in collaboration with department heads, incorporating effective cost-saving strategies and revenue forecasts based on financial performance history.
  • Supervise the procurement team to ensure compliance with club policies and procedures, ensuring smooth operational functioning

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
  • Proven experience in overseeing accounting functions in a role such as Chief Accountant or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated strong managerial and leadership abilities with a results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.
