Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in construction industry. Our reputable client is currently searching for an Accounting Manager who is amenable to work onsite under a morning schedule. The office is located in Makati City.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for leasing and real estate development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations for the leasing and real estate development industry.
  • Manage a team of accountants, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness for the leasing and real estate development industry.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for leasing and real estate development activities, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Coordinate and assist in the annual audit process for leasing and real estate development activities.
  • Manage the company's budgeting process and cash flow projections for leasing and real estate development activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as leasing, property management, and development, to ensure that financial information is accurate and timely for leasing and real estate development activities.
  • Provide financial analysis and support to senior management to facilitate strategic decision-making for leasing and real estate development activities.
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure accurate and complete financial records for leasing and real estate development activities.


Key requirements include:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy.
  • Certified Public Accountant is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of Accounting and Tax Regulation/Laws.
  • Knowledge in the industry, software, advanced computer skills - particularly with MS Office Application - Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Accounting systems.
  • 4-5 years of working experience in audit (from auditing firm) or at least 8 years of working experience in handling general accounting and reporting, and tax management.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
