Our respective client is a skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic team in the Gaming/Online Casino industry for the job of Android Developer.
The Android Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge Android applications for our gaming platform. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about mobile app development and the gaming industry. The job is based in BGC, Taguig City and has an on site work arrangement.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform, ensuring responsiveness, efficiency, and seamless user experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure the quality and efficiency of the codebase.
- Identify and rectify bottlenecks and bugs, and maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement compelling and intuitive user interfaces.
- Collaborate with backend developers, QA engineers, and other team members to integrate front-end and back-end components seamlessly.
- Conduct unit testing and participate in the creation and execution of detailed, comprehensive test plans.
- Debug and resolve application issues and defects promptly.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation related to the development process, code, and system architecture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of Android applications.
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
- Solid understanding of the Android SDK, UI design principles, and best practices.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Knowledge of mobile app architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, etc.).
- Familiarity with continuous integration and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Gaming or Online Casino industry.
- Familiarity with real-time multiplayer game development.
- Knowledge of security best practices for mobile application development.
