Area Sales Manager (Medical Devices)

Executive recruitment consultant Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a Medical Device Distributor Company in Indonesia. Our respected client is seeking a professional for Area Sales Manager (Sulawesi). The job is based in Makassar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the Makassar-Sulawesi region.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities by conducting market research, analyzing competitor activities, and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, healthcare professionals, distributors, and partners to enhance the company's brand and market presence.
  • Manage the sales team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure the team's success in meeting objectives.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to develop region-specific promotional activities, campaigns, and materials.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to senior management.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Sales and covering Sulawesi Area.
  • Proven track record in sales and sales management, preferably within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Makassar-Sulawesi market, including key healthcare institutions, decision-makers, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide the sales team toward achieving targets.
