The Associate Director will be working in Bangkok and will be influencing sub-regional teams to implement regional strategies and drive sales in each market. This person will be working closely with the APAC Sales Leader for business development in markets across Asia Pacific. The Associate Director will play a significant part in bridging the gap between the global and the APAC teams.
Job responsibilities
- Associate Director based in Bangkok
- Sustaining and expanding business across Asia Pacific
- Business planning, forecasting, and analysis
- Leading and assisting sub-regional teams to drive sales
- Handling key and potential accounts
- Developing new market penetration strategies
- Developing a long-term plan and action for driving the growth of ingredients
- Implementing global and regional strategies to all subregions
- Bridging between the global and subregional teams
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, BA, or Marketing
- Sales Background in health supplements, pharmaceutical, or food ingredients
- Extensive knowledge of APAC markets, including SEA, China, and Japan
- Basic knowledge of product registration and importation to China and Japan
- Proven track record of managing relationships with business partners and customers
- Solid negotiation skills and negotiation experience
- Ability to influence multinational teams and stakeholders
- Strong influencing skills
- Strong people management skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions for complex problems
- Excellent communication & presentation skills in English
- Must be very dynamic and energetic
