Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting a Business Development Manager on behalf of a health solutions and medical device distributor company specializing in prosthetic and orthotic solutions. The role will play a strategic and hands-on role in driving growth across the Philippines through expanding market presence, developing strong relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify key business areas to grow the existing base and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships across the Philippines.
- Build and manage long-term relationships with hospitals, clinics, and institutional partners.
- Arrange meetings and coordinate product demos with potential end users and stakeholders.
- Promote company's prosthetic, orthotic, and rehabilitation services, increasing brand awareness and emphasizing differentiation from locally made products.
- Establish and achieve revenue targets and KPIs for assigned product portfolios (ASM, PEM, & Prosthetic Components) and Patient Care.
- Analyze market trends, monitor competitor activity, and identify regional opportunities.
- Keep customers and patients informed of product updates, enhancements, and upgrade options.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Operations for seamless coordination.
- Leverage clinical knowledge to communicate patient benefits and collaborate with clinicians, orthotists/prosthetists, and rehabilitation professionals.
- Conduct training sessions, product presentations, and technical workshops when needed to support partner education.
- Build networks with Orthopedic Surgeons, Rehab Physicians, General Practitioners, and Allied Health Professionals.
- Represent company in industry events, conferences (e.g., ISPO), and trade fairs.
- Develop relationships with government and charitable institutions, including PhilHealth-accredited hospitals and PCSO.
- Pursue opportunities in public bidding and institutional collaborations, advocating customized solutions from company's Patient Care Facility.
- Develop and execute nationwide sales plans, business strategies, and marketing initiatives.
- Track sales performance, prepare forecasts, evaluate ROI, and maintain CRM databases to monitor pipeline and customer interactions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Health related field
- At least 5 years' experience in sales or business development within medical device or health-related industries
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Self-driven, strategic thinker with the ability to lead business growth.
- Advantage if with experience working with PhilHealth Z-Morph programs or similar public healthcare initiatives.
- Familiarity with public bidding processes and hospital procurement systems.
- Comfortable in both clinical and corporate environments.
- Must be willing to do field works; also willing to travel across the Philippines for client engagements and business expansion as needed.
