Executive recruitment firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a growing insurance company that offers a wide range of products including life and non-life insurance. Our respected client is seeking for a Branch Head who will oversee and manage branch operations across multiple distribution channels, including Bancassurance, Agency, Brokers, and other strategic partnerships. This role is pivotal in ensuring the branch's efficient daily operations, achieving business targets, and delivering exceptional service to intermediaries and customers. This role is an onsite work setup in Cagayan De Oro city.

Key Responsibilities:

Branch Operations Management

  • Oversee and ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant day-to-day operations of the branch.
  • Implement and enforce standard operational procedures.
  • Track and evaluate branch performance; initiate corrective actions when targets are not met.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing branch team.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to drive employee development and engagement.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on collaboration and accountability.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and lead goal-setting initiatives.

Customer and Intermediary Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, intermediaries, and partners.
  • Resolve customer concerns and provide solutions in a timely, customer-focused manner.
  • Gather customer feedback and drive initiatives to enhance satisfaction and retention.

Sales and Business Development

  • Lead the development and execution of sales strategies across all channels: Bancassurance, Agency, Brokers, and Others.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Drive recruitment of productive agents and channel partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet sales targets and expand market reach.
  • Build long-term partnerships with strategic clients and stakeholders.

Financial and Budget Management

  • Prepare, manage, and monitor the branch's budget to ensure profitability.
  • Analyze financial performance and implement cost-effective strategies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting in line with financial standards.

Risk and Compliance Management

  • Identify operational, compliance, and security risks; develop and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Enforce branch security and safety protocols.
  • Manage incident reporting and ensure prompt resolution.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • At least 3-5 years of supervisory/managerial experience, preferably in branch or sales operations.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products and multi-channel distribution models.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Solid financial acumen and experience in budget and performance management.
  • Deep understanding of compliance, risk, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant tools and systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Must have a background or solid knowledge in non-life insurance.
  • Strong sales management, customer service, and people management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Valid driver's license is an advantage.
