Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia's Healthcare Division is partnered with a fast-growing multinational digital healthcare company. As their business is expanding, we are looking for a Business Development and Sales Manager to be based in Selangor.

As the Business Development & Sales Manager, you will work on the sales and business development efforts of the country. Manage C suite relationships, open opportunities, and meet client needs to assist the ongoing profile of the company that leads to sales achievements. Driven to not only meet customer outcomes but develop and lead a talented sales team with a culture of success.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Have/ Cultivate relationships right across the industry, opening business development opportunities.
  • Account planning, segmentation, and pipeline development.
  • Managing the sales lifecycle process from the first meeting to client signing, handover to Pharma solutions, account expansion, and renewals.
  • Achieve growth & meet sales targets.
  • Advisor to the Partnerships and Content teams, on desired TA and contents.
  • Performance monitoring of the team and reporting to leadership.
  • Develop new business solutions/growth in partnership with the Product development team and potential clients/partners.

People Management

  • Build a high performing team that surpasses business objectives and customer satisfaction to achieve results.
  • Develop and empower the Sales &/ or the Account team for personal growth, building on dynamic people to achieve more than their role description.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, collaboration, and fun right across the team.


  • Min. 4-5 years, preferably in Pharmaceutical Business Development and Sales.
  • Min. Bachelor's Degree in Business/ Sales/ or relevant field.
  • Proven successful Sales performance.
  • Led the Sales &/ or the Account team.
  • Strong focus on execution.
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office application and Google Tools.
  • Good command of written & spoken English, and Bahasa Melayu.
