Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of s a trusted industrial solution. Is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to develop new business and opportunities to achieve profit targets for the Company through the identification and attraction of new markets and customers.

Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for new business development and expansion of existing products and services within the organisation to develop Company's customer and profit base. 1.2 Responsible for and take part in new and existing distributor identification, development and management to maximize sales and profit within the responsible region.


Key Job responsibilities include:

  • Maintain knowledge of day-to-day market developments and accurately assess the opportunities provided. 1.4 Initiate appropriate action to gain maximum advantage of sound opportunities.
  • Plan and coordinate the development and introduction of new products including marketing, pricing, financial, technical support, engineering and manufacturing aspects
  • Conduct research into new business opportunities through all available media *Prepare and conduct presentations to and negotiate with prospective customers to achieve targeted growth objectives
  • May assess and advise clients on a wide range of commercial proposals related to the Company's products and services
  • Ensure business negotiations are undertaken to protect the Company's interests
  • Develop strategic plans to achieve new business targets
  • Ensure all business activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards
  • Work in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders from the company's team as necessary to achieve tasks as required by the company
  • Any other duties which are required from time to time as directed by the Export Sales Manager and/or Managing Director of the company
  • Ensure compliance with Company's Health Safety & Environmental policies and legislative requirements.
  • Report all hazards, unsafe practices, unsafe conditions and situations, all injuries and all incidents to your manager
  • Notify the appropriate team member of any equipment failure or damage (this may include vehicles, IT hardware, or any equipment that has a potential safety hazard)
  • Lead by example in health and safety awareness by correctly wearing all personal protective equipment as required. This may include safety shoes at all times, and hearing protection, safety glasses and hi vis vests in certain areas of the workplace
  • Observe and follow all policies and instructions related to safety when at work or at client sites

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Demonstrable experience in sales role & knowledge of principles and methods involved in showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategies and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques and sales control systems
  • Good working knowledge of Company products
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate (verbal and written) with people of all levels and different cultural backgrounds. Strong ability to communicate in both English and Indonesian by the least
  • Strong knowledge and commitment to safety
  • Intermediate IT skills - Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to analyse and interpret information
  • Strong organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
