Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Professional Division is partnered with an established multinational software services company. Our distinguished client is currently seeking to hire for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible to drive strategic partnerships and accelerate revenue growth. Responsible for cultivating new business opportunities and fostering key client relationships. This role is an individual contributor role.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Identify and target potential customers through market research, networking, and other lead generation methods.
  • Craft compelling sales pitches, presentations, and other content that effectively communicates the value of the product offering.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing basic technical info & explanations as required.
  • Keep up with product and service information and updates.
  • Engage in telephonic conversation with CXO level executives (e.g. CFO, CIO/CTO) and Senior Company Secretaries and obtain appointments with same.
  • Communicating with customers as per given KPIs; making outbound calls &emails to potential customers


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT/ SaaS based solution selling, business development, with at least 4 years of experience in a account managerial position.
  • Experience with CRM and sales tools for lead management, tracking and communication.
  • Proven track record of sales results.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is a plus.
  • An existing network of contacts and relationships in the APAC region, including potential partners, industry players, and key decision makers.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Business Management or a relevant field or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • A self-motivated and results oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding business development.
