Executive recruitment consultant Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of one of the most prominent companies in the Environmental Service Industry. Our client is looking for a Carbon Manager. This job will be based in Indonesia.
Responsibilities:
- Manage certification project lifecycle, including planning, coordination, and monitoring.
- Build project team capacity to align field activities with carbon requirements.
- Control implementation quality and optimize proceedings.
- Develop and manage certification-related budgets.
- Train local teams and stakeholders on carbon tools and improve educational materials.
- Support data collection for certification, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Monitor KPIs, prepare annual carbon performance reports, and identify optimization plans.
- Prepare Project Design Document (PDD) and Monitoring Report (MR) for external audits.
- Serve as a focal point for carbon certification standards, auditors, legal advisors, and government representatives.
- Stay updated on international carbon frameworks, legal frameworks, and consult with government representatives as needed.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience managing NBS carbon certifications in Asia (VCS or GS).
- Successful experience in carbon quantification and modeling in the Asia Region.
- Knowledge of end-to-end carbon certification processes and voluntary carbon markets (VCS or Gold Standard).
- Proficiency in Excel or similar tools.
- Strong organizational, rigorous, and detail-oriented skills.
- Fluent in English; legal right to work in Indonesia.
