Executive Recruitment Firm Monroe Consulting is partnering with an international Home Appliance Company to hire a Commercial Director. As a commercial director, you will lead and develop the sales team and the sales organization of the Group in Malaysia. You are responsible to define, develop and execute the commercial strategies for each brand and through the different distribution channels to deliver sustainable sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- To manage and support the sales team To define, implement and deliver the commercial plans
- To drive the brands development in the appropriate sales channels
- To manage the pricing to guarantee sales and margin targets.
- To manage the sales forecast per client
- To analyse and report market trends, activities and competition activities, and company marketing and product performance.
- Manage, coach and support the sales team: Sales Director, Key account managers and Area managers.
- Manage strategic channel partnership to achieve business plan.
- Provide the strategic sales strategies in achieving the target growth and revenue numbers.
- Evaluate pricing structure with KAM to guarantee sales and margin targets
- Negotiate annual agreements and other long term deals with main customers.
- Ensure the monthly action plans, process and reports are executed correctly and on time.
- Analyse the sales, market trends and implement relevant actions.
- Elaborate the commercial plans per brand and per channel strategy, with CEO and Marketing Director.
- Coordinate sales forecast per product and per key customer.
- Ensure right execution of the product and brand displays presence in stores, and track the listings.
- Manage brand promoters' performance, training, and activities.
- Reports company sales and commercial activities, customers or competitors' activities.
- Member of the Country Management team
- Provide commercial leadership direction and coaching to multi-functional team
- Lead the monthly business review meeting
Key Requirement::
- Excellent negotiation and commercial skills.
- Excellent arithmetic skills.
- Great people manager, able to motivate and develop individuals with different sales styles, approaches and levels of experience
- Strong leader, able to contribute thought influence and persuasion.
- Ability to analyse and react to market trends and opportunities
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, negotiation, communication ability
- Strong track record of sales management in a categorised product sales environment (SDA, MDA, or СЕ)
- Fluent in Englis
- Experience of operating at Sales director level and management of multi-layered customer relationships
- Able to learn and assimilate key features and benefits of the products
- Understanding of competitors ranges
