Executive Recruitment Consultant at Monroe Consulting Group is partnering with a multinational FMCG company (Beverage). Our respected client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead commercial growth in Indonesia. This role is critical in shaping and executing the sales strategy, driving market share expansion, and building a high-performance sales team to achieve ambitious business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the national sales and commercial strategy to achieve business objectives, market share growth, and profitability targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the national sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to support professional development.
  • Drive sales growth across all channels, including on-trade (hotels, bars, clubs) and off-trade (retail, supermarkets, e-commerce).
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand distribution and market penetration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Manage the national sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
  • Monitor sales performance against targets and prepare regular reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to inform decision-making.
  • Partner with marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure cohesive business execution.
  • Work closely with marketing to design and implement promotional activities and trade marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8-10 years of proven experience in a senior sales or commercial leadership role, ideally in the FMCG or beverage industry within Indonesia.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage large teams.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indonesian market dynamics, distribution networks, and key accounts.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • High integrity and professional ethics.
