Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of an award-winning digital platform that distributes digital version of newspaper and magazines.

Job Summary

Our respected client is seeking a Corporate and Compliance Specialist who will assist the Corporate and Compliance Director and responsible to perform due diligence by carefully reviewing cost proposals and corporate documents, as well as preparing comparative report analysis that will drive strategic partnerships with vendors and service providers for current and new initiatives.

The job is in Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines, and offers a day shift schedule, weekends off and Hybrid work arrangement, 3 days onsite and 2 days' work from home.

Key job responsibilities

  • Facilitate with Legal Team on Corporate directives, documentation requirements and maintain an up-to-date information on government regulations and industry standards to align company's overall strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to government required online and offline reports, documents and transactions with government agencies such as Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), National Privacy Commission (NPC), Local Government Units, Bureau of Fire, SSS, PHIC, HMDF, etc.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration with the Admin, IT, Human Resources, Finance and other teams regarding business processes.
  • Assist in the Project Management of various corporate tasks and compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with Operations and Support Teams to develop and improve appropriate weekly, monthly, and quarterly Compliance Monitoring reports for employees regarding implemented operations guidelines.
  • Data security and integrity across all departments pertaining to corporate property, transactions and client information in accordance with the Data Privacy Act, related internal and local laws, and company data policies.
  • Perform other Admin tasks, duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

Key job qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Legal Management, Accounting or related Business Course
  • Three to Five (3-5) years and above work experience and exposure to Corporate Services, Compliance (PEZA, BOI, DOLE, OSH and Data Privacy) in a BPO/Shared Service company
  • Working experience with basic Office Management
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient Microsoft applications especially Excel
  • High degree of accuracy and data entry skills
  • Ability to deliver work on time and within deadline
  • Able to do tasks with minimum supervision
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess the flexibility to work on various projects and deliverables.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to achieving continuous improvement and total quality in the performance of all assigned duties.
