Our client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee the full spectrum of HR functions for the plant and commercial office, based in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Country HR Manager will lead the full spectrum of Human Resource Management (HRM) and Human Resource Development (HRD) functions while ensuring strong collaboration with the labour union, employees, and management. This role will also oversee general administration tasks and act as a key liaison with overseas management teams to align HR strategies and drive group-level projects.
Job Responsibilities
Align HR strategies with the global vision and local business objectives.
Drive organizational transformation and change management initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Oversee talent acquisition, organizational development, and retention strategies.
Implement robust performance management systems, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
Build strong relationships with employees at all levels, addressing their concerns and promoting employee engagement and well-being.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that attracts and retains top talent.
Design and implement organizational development initiatives, including restructuring, job redesign, and team building.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations. Proactively identify and mitigate HR risks, including labor disputes and legal issues.
Utilize HR analytics to measure the impact of HR initiatives and inform strategic decision-making.
Serve as the main contact for labor union negotiations, ensuring constructive dialogue and maintaining positive labor relations.
Lead collective bargaining processes and ensure agreements are aligned with business objectives and labor law.
Proactively manage employee grievances and resolve disputes in a fair and timely manner.
Oversee office administration, facilities management, and general services to ensure smooth business operations.
Manage company policies, procedures, and compliance-related documentation.
Job Requirements
Possess academic background in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
Proven years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing sector with union management/negotiations background.
In-depth knowledge of Thai labour laws and HR best practices.
Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-cultural and overseas management teams.
Fluent in Thai and English (both written and spoken).
