Key job summary
Our respected client is seeking a Development Operations (DevOps) Specialist who will be responsible to administer the operations of computer systems related to UNIX & Windows operating systems, servers, virtualization, and Cloud technologies. The job is in BGC, Taguig City, Philippines with Hybrid Working Arrangement (3x per week onsite) and should be amenable for a monthly shifting schedule (weekend day is required).
Key job responsibilities
- Manage all technological aspects associated with cloud computing, encompassing design, planning, management, maintenance, and support. Candidates should possess at least five years of experience in cloud services, including expertise in open-source technology, software development, system engineering, scripting languages, and familiarity with multiple cloud provider environments. Additionally, a background in building or designing Web services in the cloud is essential.
- Execute tasks within a well-structured Change Control system, ensuring effective communication with peers and upper management. This role demands high visibility and a professional demeanor.
- Hold an AWS Certified Solutions Architect designation.
- Provide support in a 24x7 production environment, including working shifts with a mandatory weekend day.
Key job qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Graduate
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional work experience with AWS Architecture and Terraform.
- Good-to-have work experience in DevOps tools such as Jfrog, Gitlab Runner, Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Prometheus, Gremlin CICD, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Good-to-have work experience in Linux administration skills (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Experience with IaaS & PaaS Platforms, specifically AWS.
- Hands-on experience in high-scale production environments.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Motivated with a strong desire to learn, results-driven, and a commitment to excellence.
- Willingness to work on a day shift in BGC, Taguig City. Work Set-up: Hybrid (work from home + 3 days per week onsite).
