Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company with a core focus on energy. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 20 years experience in finance and accounting in multinational company for the job of M&A Director. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Direct, monitor and evaluate the implementation of market research and identification market for Project opportunities;
  • Direct, monitor and evaluate Project development planning based on identified potential in the market, including business scheme planning initial, initial scheduling, market approach, defining initial technical specifications, as well as resource allocation;
  • Direct, monitor and evaluate the implementation of the feasibility study preparation regarding the potential of the Project at least from a technical, commercial/economic and legal perspective;
  • Direct, monitor and evaluate the implementation of strategic partnerships, including identification, data collection, evaluation, and maintaining relationships with potential business partners as a basis for implementing internal business cooperation
  • Project development to comply with the mechanisms regulated by the company.
  • Direct, monitor and evaluate development execution planning business, including determining project timelines, budgeting, preparation agreements, funding strategies, and more.
  • Direct, monitor and evaluate the implementation of coordination with the staff
  • parties involved in business development, including discussions and negotiations for
  • reach a mutual agreement
  • Direct, monitor and evaluate implementation and fulfilment internal approval process requirements to execute the Project in accordance with guidelines that apply in the company
  • Direct, monitor and evaluate the implementation of stakeholder management by maintaining relationships with regulators, business partners, customers and stakeholders other;
  • Direct, monitor and evaluate the preparation of policies and governance systems

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field with at least 15 years' experience in finance and accounting
  • Strong experiences in M&A especially in Energy sector
  • Fluent in English both oral and written
  • Understand business circumstances in Indonesia
  • Strong understanding in relevant legislation and regulation in Indonesia
  • Good leadership and developing others
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong time management / strong ability to manage to deadlines
  • Good knowledge on crisis management principles
  • Good problem solving approach
  • Effective relationship management and communication skills
