Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is assisting a newly established private hospital located in East Jakarta, in their search for a Finance Division Head. This newly created leadership position will report directly to the Hospital Director and play a key role in building and overseeing the hospital's finance function. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in healthcare finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with hospital goals.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial and management reporting.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts, and expenditures; manage internal controls and risk.
- Analyze financial performance to support business decisions and improve cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, taxation, and hospital-specific healthcare laws.
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Build and manage a high-performing finance team and nurture internal capability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Prior experience in healthcare/hospital finance is strongly preferred (Type B or C private hospitals ideal).
- Strong understanding of hospital cost structure, billing systems, insurance, and cashflow management.
- Familiarity with non-BPJS models and private payor frameworks is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working closely with hospital top management and contributing to business direction.
