Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company with a core focus on trading electrical products. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 5 years' experience in finance and accounting in multinational company for the job of Finance Senior Accountant. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Direct report to Regional Finance and Accounting
- Responsible for internal financial control and full statutory compliance.
- Responsible for monthly/quarterly/annual taxes submission (VAT, WHT, Corporate tax).
- Support the shared services team to oversee day to day accounting & finance function.
- Responsible for Financial planning and Analysis (Including monthly forecast, Sales, Orders and Collection).
- Handle project accounting transactions such as billing, revenue recognition and credit/debit note adjustment.
- Compare variances between actual and budgeted revenue and costs and coordinate and confirm overruns and savings with market unit.
- Ensure all expenditure are properly authorized and vetted by the finance function in accordance with local and group approval procedures and authority limits.
- Handle month end closing duties on time.
- Acting as the primary financial and commercial advisor to the local management team.
- Contact point for Market Unit on Corporate Compliance.
- Contact point for Internal and External Audit and follow up all comment and report issue if required.
- Review margin analysis monthly to ensure Market Unit achieve the financial targets.
- Other ad-hoc requirements as assign
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Accounting or equivalent, Chartered Accountant.
- Extensive experience in Indonesia taxes and accounting standards.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- A "can-do" self starter with good English (verbal and written) communication skills.
- Pleasant, co-operative, self-motivated, team player and customer oriented.
- Preferred to have knowledge in Trading and Service environment exposure
