Responsibilities

- Conduct regular operational walkthroughs and safety inspections.
- Identify operational risks and implement safety improvement initiatives.
- Promote and strengthen a strong safety culture across all operational areas.
Key Performance Indicators
- Zero fatalities and serious workplace incidents.
- Minimum regular safety inspections and operational walkthroughs conducted monthly.
- Continuous annual reduction in identified safety risks.
Commercial Performance
Responsibilities
- Ensure achievement of annual financial and operational targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Coordinate closely with commercial and operational teams to support business growth.
Key Performance Indicators
- Achievement of annual budget targets.
- Retention and renewal of existing customer contracts.

Port & Logistics Operations Management
Responsibilities
- Manage daily port and logistics operational activities.
- Ensure operational readiness to support vessel arrivals and cargo handling activities at all times.
- Ensure compliance with applicable maritime security regulations.
- Supervise operational services including cargo handling, transportation, storage, and logistics coordination.
Key Performance Indicators
- Continuous operational readiness to support vessel operations.
- Compliance with maritime security standards.
Heavy Equipment & Asset Management
Responsibilities
- Oversee management of operational equipment and vehicle fleets.
- Ensure proper maintenance, readiness, and utilization of equipment.
- Optimize asset utilization to support operational efficiency.
Key Performance Indicator
- Maintain high equipment availability and operational readiness.
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maritime Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- A Master's degree or MBA is an advantage.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience in port operations, maritime services, logistics, or heavy equipment operations.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership or managerial role overseeing multi-department operations.
- Proven experience managing port terminal operations, cargo handling, or logistics services.
- Demonstrated experience in business development and client relationship management.
Technical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of port operations and terminal management.
- Familiarity with maritime security regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing heavy equipment fleets and operational assets.
- Knowledge of cargo handling, transportation, storage, and freight forwarding operations.
- Understanding of safety management systems and risk reduction programs.
