Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a notable General Insurance company. Our respected client is seeking a qualified individual as Head of Agency (Life, Project Expansion). The position will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The role of Head of Agency-Life entails overseeing and directing the operations of the Life agency distribution channel within the organizationorganization. Responsibilities include strategic planning, recruitment, training, performance management, and driving sales of general insurance products through a network of life insurance agents. The incumbent will ensure alignment with the company's growth objectives, oversee infrastructure readiness, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the life agency distribution channel in line with company goals.
  • Recruitment and Training: Supervise recruitment, training, and development of life insurance agents to incorporate general insurance solutions into their practice, and oversee internal agency sales team development for optimal performance.
  • Performance Management: Establish recruitment and sales targets, monitor achievements, and implement corrective measures for underperformanceunderperformance.
  • Sales: Propel sales of general insurance products through the life insurance agency force.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies, fostering a culture of integrity and ethical sales practices.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including life agents and internal divisions.

  • Bachelor's degree from reputable Universities.
  • Proven experience in middle management within the life insurance industry, particularly in agency distribution.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills to inspire and motivate sales professionals and independent agency forces.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Deep understanding of life insurance agents'agents' characteristics, behaviorsbehaviors, and insurance regulatory environment.
  • Extensive network and relationships within the life insurance agent community.
  • Strategic thinker with robust analyticalanalytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of general insurance products is highly desirable.
