Executive recruitment Monroe Consulting Group is currently representing a renowned Hospital Group in Indonesia in the look for Head of Learning and Development to lead and oversee the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive training and development programs for our hospital client.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall Learning and Development strategy that aligns with the hospital's goals and objectives. Focus on creating programs that address the specific needs of healthcare professionals and support staff.
- Design and implement innovative training programs, leadership development initiatives, and continuous education opportunities for all levels of staff. Ensure programs are tailored to the unique demands of the healthcare industry.
- Work closely with senior management, department heads, and HR to identify training needs, assess gaps, and develop targeted learning solutions. Ensure alignment between learning initiatives and organizational objectives.
- Engage and manage external vendors, consultants, and training providers to deliver specialized training programs. Leverage expertise from management consulting firms and corporate best practices to enhance learning outcomes.
- Develop metrics and evaluation processes to measure the effectiveness of training programs. Use data-driven insights to continuously improve the quality and impact of Learning and Development initiatives.
- Lead and support change management initiatives related to organizational learning, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes and technologies. Provide training and resources to support change at all levels of the organization.
- Oversee the Learning and Development budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and maximizing ROI on training investments. Identify cost-effective solutions without compromising the quality of training programs.
- Lead and mentor a team of Learning and Development professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation. Support the professional growth and development of team members.
- Ensure that all training programs meet regulatory requirements and support the hospital's accreditation standards. Stay informed about industry trends and changes in healthcare education regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications in Learning and Development is preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Learning and Development, with significant experience in both management consulting firms and corporate settings. Experience in the healthcare industry is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale learning initiatives and manage cross-functional teams. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic learning initiatives that drive organizational performance and support long-term business objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and front-line staff.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in using data to evaluate program effectiveness, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement.
