We seek a Head of Maintenance to oversee machine workflow and ensure optimal equipment performance. They are seeking a candidate with people management skill and technical acumen to join their team.
The Head of Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime, driving safety standards, and overseeing the lifecycle management of all physical assets. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in automation with proven leadership skills to manage a high-performing team.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities for machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of equipment and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
Lead, train, and evaluate maintenance staff to ensure high performance and adherence to safety and operational standards.
Diagnose technical problems and carry out timely repairs or coordinate with external contractors when necessary.
Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and ensure efficient use of resources, spare parts, and tools.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and health and safety regulations.
Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for maintenance services, spare parts, and equipment procurement.
Maintain the overall condition of the physical infrastructure, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general building upkeep.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, incidents, and repairs.
Identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes, tools, and systems to enhance reliability, efficiency, and sustainability.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Years of experience in maintenance engineering role, with a proven experience in a supervisory or managerial position.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems, including HVAC, PLC, automation, and facility maintenance.
Experience in implementing and managing preventive/predictive maintenance programs and using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Proven ability to lead and motivate maintenance teams, manage performance, and develop staff.
Solid understanding of safety standards, regulations, and procedures in industrial or facility environments.
Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage maintenance projects and budgets effectively.
Good command of English, both written and spoken
