Monroe Consulting Group is assisting our client, a prominent healthcare group, in finding a visionary leader to oversee their specialized eye care center. This senior role will be based in Jakarta and will report directly to the Group CEO. The successful candidate will spearhead strategic growth, operational excellence, clinical quality, and innovation to position the eye center as a leader in its field.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute both short- and long-term strategies to strengthen the center's positioning as a leader in ophthalmology services.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for business expansion, partnerships, and new services.
- Build a strong brand reputation as a trusted center for advanced eye care.
Clinical & Quality Excellence
- Ensure patient safety and the highest standards of evidence-based clinical care.
- Oversee clinical governance, accreditation, and compliance with national and international healthcare standards.
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and medical teams to enhance service quality and foster innovation.
Operational & Financial Management
- Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, and achievement of performance targets.
- Optimize resource allocation, patient flow, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
People & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop doctors, nurses, and support staff.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, integrity, and results orientation.
- Maintain effective relationships with patients, insurers, vendors, and healthcare partners.
Innovation & Technology
- Stay abreast of technological advancements in ophthalmology and digital healthcare.
- Drive adoption of advanced diagnostics, telemedicine, and AI-based healthcare solutions.
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) with specialization in Ophthalmology preferred; Master's degree in Hospital/Healthcare Management is an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years' leadership experience in eye care services or hospital management.
- Proven success in leading or developing a specialty medical center.
- Strong understanding of clinical operations, patient management, and business development.
- Strategic mindset with excellent operational and financial management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Innovative and adaptable to digital transformation in healthcare.
- Professional proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
