Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a multinational company with a core focus EPC Services/Construction. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 5+ years' experience for the job of Health, Safety, and Environment. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

* Lead by example, strictly adhere to the health and safety protocol outlined always, even when unobserved.
* Be proactive in your approach to enhancing health, safety & the environment.
* Encourage and reinforce the safe behavior of others
* To continue to support, encourage and educate all staff on HSE matters by creating training and follow-up supports
* Be committed to an incident / injury free workplace, be transparent at all times
* To support and guide the local Business Unit Manager on local rules and legislation to remain compliant and to issue the necessary supporting documents when necessary.
* To support, guide, advise Management and Staff across all operational sites, yards, and offices and to issue the necessary supporting documents when necessary.
* To support, be actively involved in all HSE matters during the tendering process.
* To work with, support local Yard Manager(s) in ensuring all equipment is in good safe working condition prior to use across our sites.
* To Co-ordinate with client safety department as and when required or requested
* To perform, conduct risk assessments for any new project/activity/new machine/facility (in consultation with Project Manager(s), and Operations Manager), wherever and whenever required.
* Perform proactive engagement visits and inspections of all workplaces, the promotion of the safe conduct of work, hazard identification techniques and communication of corrective measures to management.
* To ensure relevant HSE information is systematically disseminated to the right levels of staff, in a timely manner, in a manner which is understood and accepted to all personnel.
* Investigation of all accidents, incidents, near miss, HIPO events and Dangerous occurrences in coordination with site management team, producing factual reports with evidence, corrective, effective actions to avoid any repeat of the same from happening.
* To set up efficient organization and processes to be able to anticipate all potential risks and avoid them
* To gather, report, upload regional data monthly, working with the Regional Director. (Health, safety & environment)
* To coordinate and communicate HSE related matters across the other Business Units in the region
* To develop, lead, implement various HSE campaigns, local level as well as group level.

Job Requirements:

* Evidence of practical experience in HSE, with knowledge of construction/civil engineering sector Evidence of practical experience in HSE, with knowledge of construction/civil engineering sector
* Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills
* Fluent in spoken and written English
* Ability to work independently (analyze, plan, action, control)
* Be pro-active, take initiatives, set clear objectives and priorities, be flexible in the face of changing priorities and to maintain a positive mindset
* Must be able to prepare timely clear and accurate reports
* Must be able to take control and be accountable
* Must have the ambition to succeed within evolving and sometimes demanding contexts
