Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a multinational textile and garment manufacturing company. Our client is seeking a highly capable and strategic Industrial Engineering (IE) Department Manager to lead continuous improvement initiatives and optimize production efficiency. This role is based in Indonesia and provides an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department supervisors to define the Industrial Engineering (IE) plan in alignment with company policies and strategic direction.
  • Develop and implement operational guidelines for the IE department in coordination with Production and Garment Technical teams.
  • Lead regular meetings with the Production team to review processes and identify improvement opportunities for enhanced efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze root causes of inefficiencies or production issues and initiate preventive and corrective measures accordingly.
  • Oversee and manage the implementation of improvement initiatives to increase productivity and streamline operations.
  • Promote continuous improvement through the application of the Kaizen system and Lean Manufacturing tools.
  • Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Textile Industry, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or process improvement roles within the garment or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Industrial Engineering principles and Lean Manufacturing methodologies, particularly Kaizen.
  • Proven experience in planning and executing efficiency improvement projects aligned with production operations.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and implement actionable solutions.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities to work effectively across departments.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • English communication skills are a plus.
