Job Summary:
Our respective client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Event Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management and coordination of all IT events within Our Organization. You will play a key role in ensuring that IT events are efficiently monitored, analyzed, and resolved, minimizing their impact on business operations. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining a stable and reliable IT environment, ensuring the smooth functioning of our systems and services.

The job is in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines, and offers a hybrid working arrangement.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Implement an effective IT event management process based on ITIL best practices.
  • Monitor all IT events, including incidents, alerts, and system notifications, and ensure their accurate recording within the event management system.
  • Analyze and prioritize events based on their potential impact on business operations and services.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with various IT teams to investigate and resolve events in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
  • Identify and promptly escalate critical events to appropriate stakeholders. Including senior management if necessary.
  • Develop and maintain event management dashboards, reports, and metrics to track and communicate the status and performance of IT Events.
  • Conduct regular reviews and analysis of event management processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Collaborate with other IT service management processes, such as incident management, problem management, and change management, to ensure effective coordination and communication.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to event management and proactively recommend improvements or new approaches.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support for IT teams on event management processes, tools, and techniques.

Key job qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications, such as ITIL Foundation or ITIL practitioner, are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in IT event management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of ITIL framework and event management principles.
  • Proficient in using event management tools and software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and respond to events based on their impact and urgency.
  • Strong Communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure components like networks, servers, databases, and applications.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a continuous improvement mindset.

Other Requirements:

  • Willing to work on a shifting schedule (24/7) including Weekends and Holidays.
  • Willing to from in the office at least 3x times per week.
