Job Description :

Leadership & Governance:

  • Lead and advocate for the Sourcing Organization.
  • Oversee governance and coordination efforts.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Engage in sourcing community initiatives.
  • Provide sourcing support to the manufacturing site.
  • Uphold sourcing excellence and quality standards.
  • Position the Sourcing Function as a strategic business partner.
  • Mentor and train team members to align procurement activities with business goals


Strategic Sourcing & Performance:

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies.
  • Understand and anticipate customer and end-user needs.
  • Analyze commodities and identify strategic opportunities.
  • Assist in building and updating sourcing segmentation.
  • Innovate internally and externally to enhance sourcing value.
  • Improve sourcing processes and procedures.
  • Conduct spend analysis and track savings.
  • Identify and capitalize on cost-saving opportunities.
  • Report savings and key sourcing contributions.


Sourcing Strategy Implementation:

  • Identify sourcing initiatives based on short- and long-term needs.
  • Conduct market analysis and support R&D efforts.
  • Assemble project teams for sourcing initiatives.
  • Analyze and standardize procurement needs.
  • Conduct supplier market research and identify new vendors.
  • Recommend and shortlist suppliers for RFx processes.
  • Develop RFx criteria, manage RFPs/RFQs/RFIs, and evaluate proposals.
  • Lead contract negotiations while ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) and rationalize product/service offerings.
  • Deliver planned and actual cost savings.


Supplier Management & Compliance:

  • Manage contracts and oversee their lifecycle locally.
  • Ensure contract deployment and implementation.
  • Classify and manage the supplier panel (e.g., strategic, critical).
  • Foster supplier relationships in line with SRM and commodity strategies.
  • Offer supply alternatives and implement continuous improvement plans.
  • Assess and mitigate supplier-related risks.
  • Handle supplier quality issues and complaints.
  • Enforce standards and compliance requirements.
  • Manage conflict minerals compliance in line with global standards and company policy.
  • Build long-term partnerships, negotiate master agreements, and collaborate on innovation, quality, and cost reduction.
  • Ensure Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) standards are met during supplier selection.
