Responsibilities:
- Specializes in law regarding regulatory and environmental advice at multiple layers of government, including joint review panels, board and commissions, and environmental acts and regulations.
- Advice/counsel multiple areas of business law related to an organization's legal rights and obligations.
- Providing legal advice in business area e.g corporate law, tax, business litigation, transaction/anti-trust, compliance, intellectual property, employment/labor, corporate governance, ethics, and others.
- Researching, analyzing and interpreting proposed and existing laws, statues & regulations
- Identifying, evaluating and addressing issues of legal risk.
- Structuring, drafting, negotiating and/or approving legal contracts, letters of agreement, policies, and other document related to a variety of trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters.
- May represent/advocate for an organizational in litigation, arbitration, mediation or other dispute with courts, government agencies, or other legal authorities.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree graduate in Law, from Reputable University. Master Degree in Law will be considered an advantage.
- Has PERADI License/Certification.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Knowledge and experience in global Renewable Energy Framework is an advantage.
- Proven 10 (ten) years of experience as Legal Counsel role in Energy Business/Energy Industry (especially in Power and or Renewable industry).
- Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in providing high level reports to management.
- Integrity through honesty, ethical behavior and trustworthiness.
- Strong situational leadership capability.
- Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation includes the new regulations.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.
