Maintenance Superintendent (Subic)
Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in manufacturing industry. Our client is looking for a professional who has extensive experience in facilities and maintenance. The role will oversee the maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating ventilation, and air conditioning, carpentry painting and other building systems. The job is based in Subic, Zambales City, Philippines.
Key responsibilities:
- Overall in-charge of Plant Equipment and Engineering Department.
- Lead the site Maintenance function, providing both reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.
- Lead Maintenance Shift Supervisors and Teams in daily direction setting.
- Lead major projects in Plant and manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements.
- Contribute to new business initiatives and projects, reviewing and communicating their impact on Maintenance activities.
- Manage and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
- Ensure that the function operates in accordance with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of staff and visitors.
- Assist Engineering and Equipment Manager.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's/ College degree in electrical, mechanical field or equivalent field
* With PRC license in Electrical or Mechanical
* Good English oral and written communication Skills.
* Solid technical understanding in mechanical, electricals, hydraulics, and pneumatics
* Field experience with Mechanical Maintenance planning & execution background in huge pressing machine Installation, Commissioning, Maintenance, troubleshooting
* At least 5 years of experience in maintenance/facility management or equivalent.
* Candidate must be an excellent teamplayer. Being able to influence processes and people with conviction and decisiveness in order to continuously improve.
* Experience working in manufacturing environment.
* Experience in maintenance planning operations is a must.
* Excellent organizational and leadership capabilities.
* Meticulous, well-organized and able to work in a team environment.
* Able to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
