JOB SUMMARY
The Associate Physician primarily performs various non-surgical procedures on the patient such as lasers, dermal fillers, and other face and body treatments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide recommended/requested non-surgical procedures to patients following the standard procedures and protocols.
- They take medical histories, examine and treat patients, order and interpret laboratory tests as needed, make diagnoses and prescribe medications. They also record progress notes, instruct and counsel patients if needed.
- Perform procedures on patients such as lasers, peels and botox among others.
- Coordinate with the Patient Care Specialist or the Physician's Assistant and gives instructions with regards to assisting patients on their scheduled appointment
- Explain the content of the Consent form and ensure that the form is signed by the patient.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of information written on the charge slip regarding treatments done on the patient
- Send "care text" to all treated patients within 24 hours of the treatment
- Report any repairs needed in the Clinic
- Participate in the daily huddle and weekly branch meeting and monthly Doctors' meeting.
- Promptly reports any medication error to the Medical Operations Manager and Assistant Medical Director.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Medical Operations Manager and Assistant Medical Director.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensed Medical Doctor (with active PRC license)
- Willing to undergo training on aesthetic and dermatologic procedures
- With good communication and patient-handling skills
- Open to working onsite in a clinic-based setup
