We are seeking a proactive Payroll Specialist who not only manages end-to-end payroll but also drives payroll system improvements and process excellence. This role will play a key part in strengthening payroll governance, automation, and compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accurate and timely monthly payroll processing
- Review and enhance payroll workflows, controls, and SOPs
- Lead or support payroll system implementation and automation initiatives
- Ensure full compliance with PPh21 and BPJS regulations
- Analyze payroll data and provide insights to HR and Finance
- Partner with HR, Finance, and external vendors to improve payroll efficiency
- Prepare payroll reports and support audits
- Act as the go-to expert for complex payroll matters
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field
- 4-7 years of payroll experience with exposure to process improvement or system implementation
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian payroll regulations (PPh21 & BPJS)
- Hands-on experience with HRIS/payroll systems and strong Excel skills
- Proven ability to build or improve payroll processes/SOPs
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in finance/leasing or multinational environment
- Experience in payroll automation or digital transformation projects
- Basic Mandarin is a plus
