Our respected client is seeking of well experience in Plant Sales Manager all knowledge in waste-water treatment for the position of Plant Sales Manager. The job is based in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
Job Summary:
- A Plant Sales Manager for Wastewater Treatment is responsible for driving sales of wastewater treatment solutions, technologies, and services to municipal, industrial, and commercial clients. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding complex technical requirements, and proposing tailored solutions that address specific wastewater challenges and regulatory needs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of wastewater treatment processes, a proven track record in technical sales.
Key job responsibilities include:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for plant products.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate them.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing sales and post-sale follow-up.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers, including landscape architects, nurseries, garden centers, contractors, retailers, and direct consumers (depending on business model).
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored plant solutions and product recommendations.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular customer visits and presentations to promote products and services.
Product Knowledge & Promotion:
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all plant products, including their characteristics, growing conditions, availability, and best uses.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new plant varieties, and horticultural best practices.
- Collaborate with the cultivation/production team to understand inventory levels, future availability, and quality control.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to promote products and network.
Team Leadership & Development (if applicable):
- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives or account managers.
- Set clear performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Foster a positive and results-driven sales culture.
- Conduct sales meetings and training sessions to enhance team skills and product knowledge.
Operational & Administrative:
- Manage sales pipelines and utilize CRM software effectively to track progress and manage customer interactions.
- Prepare accurate sales proposals, quotes, and contracts.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical sales practices.
- Coordinate with logistics and shipping departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of plant orders.
