Our respected client is seeking a seasoned engineer with 10-15 years of solid experience in end - end process of quality strategy in a power supply set up for Quality Assurance Manager position. The job is based in Rosario, Cavite, Philippines

Job Summary:

  • The QA Manager is to lead the execution and deployment of the organization's Quality Strategy in line with Global Quality Strategy and in conjunction with the site leadership team and serve as the Management representative for the Quality management system.
  • Manages quality resources to ensure product flow consistent with established internal standards, industry standards, government regulations and customer requirements.
  • Provides total quality leadership to customers, suppliers, and all internal stakeholders.
  • Responsible for instilling a high-level quality culture at the site, ensuring quality systems process excellence, and driving to achieve zero defect quality performance.


Key job responsibilities include:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a variety of internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate people, assess and develop employee skills.
  • Requires the use of independent judgement, responsible actions, and professionalism in all customer dealings.
  • Ability to construct cross-functional project teams and complete programs on schedule.
  • Ability to balance the requirements of performance, cost, and manufacturability,

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time,
  • Able to respond quickly to avoid escalations,
  • Summarize issues succinctly for management reporting,
  • Proven ability to successfully manage teams through coaching and development,
  • Expert in problem solving and analytical skills using 8D methodology: Is-Is Not, Fishbone diagram, Brainstorming Affinity Diagrams and 3x 5 Why.
  • Competent in quality tools, and process/production control methods such as: APQP, FMEA, MSA and SPC.
  • Understands and maintains Quality Systems, internal and external,
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with all Microsoft Office products, SAP - Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - SFDC


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in any Engineering course or any engineering courses
  • 10 years above experience in technical or quality management,
  • Experienced with working in a faced paced, high mix low volume manufacturing environment,
  • Experienced in semiconductor industry or working with semiconductor customers,
  • Experienced working with a global team,
  • Experience in design, manufacturing, and troubleshooting of high-power RF or DC generators used in High Volume, Industrial and Medical processing applications,
  • Experienced with NPI or New Product Development launches,
  • Experienced with manufacturing quality or product quality management,
  • Experienced working with field service teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering / science
  • Advanced Degree in Engineering / Science - desired
