Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of one of the multinational personal care companies for a Sales Manager. The position involves having a good understanding of FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) / CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) Sales, Marketing & Distribution and will seek partnerships with distributors to grow their modern trade and general trade channels. The is the first headcount of the company in the Philippines and the role will report to the Director for International Business. Work setup is field from Mondays to Fridays with occasional online meetings with the headquarters.

Key job responsibilities include:
* Lead sales planning, development, and achievement of sales targets.
* Develop and implement sales strategies to accelerate growth with sustained profitability, aligned with the annual business plan (ABP).
* Identify and appoint distributors in new markets.
* Oversee the activities of distributors and/or other relevant agencies.
* Identify and capitalize on new product or positioning opportunities.
* Explore and develop new business opportunities across various trade channels including General Trade, Modern Trade (big box retailers, discount stores, pharmacies), HORECA, and others.
* Establish, maintain, and expand distributor relationships.
* Collaborate closely with directors, supply chain teams, and distributor teams to streamline processes that ensure seamless flow of essential information on ordering, shipments, and sales.
* Work closely with distributor teams to achieve monthly sales targets by geography, brand, and product category.
* Analyze sales and monitor stock availability in each region/territory, tracking secondary and tertiary sales on a weekly/fortnightly basis.
* Motivate, guide, and coach the sales team to enhance coverage, deepen distribution, and improve product visibility.
* Manage coordination with factories to ensure timely production and dispatch of goods.
* Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to conceptualize, plan, and execute brand promotions and marketing materials.
* Ensure flawless execution of planned below-the-line (BTL) and merchandising activities.
* Possess a strong understanding of INCO terms and port logistics operations for import processes.

Key job qualifications include:
* Bachelor's Degree
* Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience in sales and distribution in the Philippines
* Relevant background in the FMCG industry, specifically with branded retail-driven companies (Not private label).
* In addition to Sales and Distribution, responsible for overseeing the implementation of trade schemes and marketing initiatives
* Demonstrated track record and extensive experience in developing business
* Takes ownership and accountability
