On behalf of notable life insurance company, Monroe Consulting Group is seeking a Territory Head - West Indonesia to lead the growth and performance of the agency distribution network across the western region of Indonesia. This role will focus on expanding the agency channel while strengthening penetration into the High Net Worth Individual (HNWI) segment. The position will be based in Medan and requires a strong leader with a banking background, particularly those with exposure to affluent or priority banking segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee agency distribution performance across the West Indonesia territory.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand agency productivity and recruitment, with a focus on quality advisors capable of engaging HNWI clients.
- Build strong relationships with agency leaders to drive business growth, sales performance, and market penetration.
- Design and execute initiatives to target and acquire High Net Worth Individual (HNWI) clients through the agency channel.
- Provide coaching, direction, and performance management to ensure agencies achieve sales targets and maintain high service standards.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs within the region to refine distribution and client acquisition strategies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including product, marketing, and training teams to enhance value proposition for affluent clients.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in banking, preferably with exposure to Priority Banking, Wealth Management, or Affluent Client Segments.
- Prior experience managing sales teams, distribution channels, or relationship managers is highly preferred.
- Strong network and familiarity with the HNWI market in West Indonesia, particularly in Medan and surrounding areas.
- Proven track record in driving revenue growth and achieving ambitious sales targets.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Willing to be based in Medan and travel within the West Indonesia territory.
