About the Role:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets within the Philippines market. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, cultivating strong relationships with key clients and partners, and managing the sales pipeline. The Sales Manager will play a crucial role in expanding the company's market share and solidifying its position as a leader in cash technology solutions.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Forecast and develop annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders at senior and mid-management levels, particularly within the IT, Retail, and Financial Services sectors.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to address their specific requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor and partner to clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Partner Management & Development:
- Identify, recruit, and manage strategic partners/distributors/resellers to expand market reach and drive sales growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, providing training and support to ensure their success.
- Establish and implement partner programs to incentivize and reward partner performance.
- Sales Operations & Management:
- Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and forecasts.
- Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce.com) to track sales performance and manage customer interactions.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition and supply and demand.
- Complete national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Team Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, account management, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and management, providing regular updates on sales performance and market trends.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Reporting &Analytics:
- Generate and analyze sales reports, providing insights into sales performance, market trends, and customer behavior.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation, pipeline management, and conversion rates.
- Utilize data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
- Database Management:
- Define contact and account quality standards in the database, defining processes and data acquisition strategies.
- Monitor the quality of marketing and sales information and define data improvement programs.
Key Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of strategic sales management experience within the IT, Retail Markets, or Financial Services industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a relationship/strategic selling environment.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing long-term business relationships with clients and partners.
- Strong understanding of the Philippine market and experience working with key accounts in the banking, retail, and technology sectors.
- Established relationships with purchasing/technology departments in banks is a significant advantage.
- Experience in finding, setting up, growing, and managing business partners/distribution channels.
- Proficient in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce.com) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
