Our distinguished client is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer with basic people management skills. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in C# .Net coding.
The candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end software development and support for all work transitioned from Group (specialized and focus on Level 3 production fixes). This includes analysis and design to development, implementation, testing and support and you will be expected to manage production problems and incidents reported under retail investment applications.
Key Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end software development and support for all work transitioned from Group (specialized and focus on Level 3 production fixes). This includes analysis and design to development, implementation, testing and support and you will be expected to manage production problems and incidents reported under retail investment applications.
The candidate will also be responsible for quality assurance of the team delivery in conformance to the Bank-defined software delivery methodology and tools.
- Act as the focal point of contact for technical resolutions while managing the incident, problem and knowledge management processes for the applications in scope.
- Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues.
- Manage 3rd party product vendors and integration partners to ensure application code fix deliveries are timely and good quality.
- Design appropriate metrics for reporting on key performance and quality indicators. Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
- Work with production support team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing.
- Work with business stakeholders to manage and prioritize the overall book of work in terms of problem remediation.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives relating to methods, tools, people, architecture, project management and governance.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in related Information Technology disciplines; Additional professional/technical qualifications will be advantageous.
- At least 6 years' experience in relevant Banking/Investment Banking / Information
- Technology with functional and system knowledge on Investment and Wealth product (ie. Insurance, Funds, Bonds, Unit Trust, Structure Deposit & etc).
- Proficient in MSSQL platform, Dot Net and React JS programming.
- Investment & Wealth / MSSQL, .net, SQL, Open systems, Windows / Wealth Management
- Experience in design, development, testing, implementation, support and documentation of applications according to change requests and project requirements.
- Experience in Agile and DevOps practices.
- Senior person in the team with experience providing guidance to junior developers (Good to have with team lead experience).
