Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading digital finance platform in Southeast Asia. Our respective client is looking for a Senior Funding Manager who will oversee external funding partnerships in the Philippines market. This role will be reporting to the President and Chairman, with onsite work set-up and is located in Pasig City.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive funding and liquidity management strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and short- and long-term funding requirements.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, negotiating credit lines, loan facilities, and funding agreements.
- Monitor market conditions, interest rates, and macroeconomic trends to optimize funding structures.
- Supervise investment of surplus funds in approved instruments in line with risk appetite and policy guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management frameworks.
- Lead preparation of funding reports, liquidity dashboards, and presentations for senior management and board committees.
- Identify funding risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard liquidity and financial stability.
- Guide and mentor funding and treasury team members to enhance operational efficiency.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or any related degree.
- At least 5 years work experience in funding functions and at least 3 years managerial role
- Must be proactive, highly responsible, and detail-oriented, with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic and with strong personality
- Distinctive communication and presentation skills, strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Flexible and resourceful in challenging and changing situations
