Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading national company with a core focus on mining owner. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 20 years' experience in mining for the job of Senior Manager Asset. The job is based in East Kalimantan, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Reporting to Director
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, including training employees on safety procedures, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring that all safety equipment is properly maintained and functioning
- Analyse and optimize asset performance including identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce downtime
- Manage a team of maintenance Operations and Strategy including hiring, training, scheduling, and monitoring performance
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance of all assets including machinery, equipment, and vehicles
- Manage the budget for asset maintenance including tracking expenses, identifying areas for cost savings, and ensuring that all expenditures are within budget
- Develop and implement asset management policies and procedures to ensure proper utilization and maintenance of assets.
- Work with other departments within the organization to ensure timely and effective communication and resolution of maintenance issues.
- To ensure accurate records of all maintenance work including parts and labour costs and ensure that all records are up-to-date and properly stored.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of maintenance plans and identify opportunities for improvement
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in asset management and maintenance planning.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mining engineering, or related field
- Minimum 20 years combined experience in in managing plant equipment in mining operations, with 5 years experience as Plant/Asset Manager
- Have strong networking with a mining project in all around Kalimantan site
- Have a strong knowledge of heavy equipment and mining site
- Skill on overall general management with a focus on mining operation
- Strong knowledge of environmental issues, mining legislation and labour law, mining technology and heavy production equipment
- Strong ability to coordinate and communicate with his team, and also across to other departments/ companies (matrix organization)
- Capability to work independently (analyse, plan, action, control) with initiative and creativity to ensure operational excellence
- Computer skills (e.g. Ms. office/database), Leadership, and presentation/auditing skills
- Good English communication in both verbal and writing
- Willing to be placed in our mine site Paser East Kalimantan with roster 5 weeks on site and 2 weeks off (field-brake will be fully accommodated to POH/KTP)
