Job Summary
Our respected client is seeking an experienced Software Engineer of the highest professional with strong programming skills and good knowledge of Object-oriented concepts for the job of Senior Software Engineer.
The Senior Software Engineer is expected be focusing on creating and maintaining efficient update processes in the form of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and producing timely reports showing data changes from update processes. The job is in Taguig City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
Key job responsibilities:
- They will be working with various stakeholders (product developers, internal teams, and clients) to deliver accurate transformed data loaded from data feed acquisitions.
- They are responsible for developing backend services and various APIs that are used to maintain the integrity of the data that we handle.
- The candidates will be working with other teams from the US and London for various product integration and enhancements.
Key job requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 3-5 years of industry experience (for experienced hires)
- Advanced knowledge in Perl, C++, C#, Python, or any other object-oriented language
- Advanced knowledge in working with databases (preferably SQL Server and PostgreSQL)
- Experience with working on AWS products is a plus
- Good communication skills
- Being a team player is a must
- Can lead large-scale projects and products
- Experienced working in an Agile environment
