Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a multinational pharmaceutical company. Our respective client is looking for a Tax and Finance Operations Assistant Manager with at least 5 years of experience in local taxation compliance. This job is based in BGC, Taguig City and has a hybrid work arrangement with 3x/week on-site schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee tax compliance and reporting in accordance with local regulations
  • Coordinate with BIR and other government agencies regarding tax audits, requirements, and documentation
  • Support the Finance Operations team across multiple areas including general accounting, reporting, and financial analysis
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of tax-related documents and reconciliations
  • Participate in internal projects and process improvements as required
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and ensure compliance with current standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and compliance
  • Prepare reports for management review and audit support


Qualifications:

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in finance or taxation
  • Strong background in local taxation and familiarity with BIR processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for coordination with BIR and related tasks
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and areas of finance operations
