Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of the largest life insurance company in the Philippines, providing customizable plans. Our client is seeking for an experienced UIUX Designer. This job is based in Makati and currently on 80% onsite set-up with dayshift schedule and weekends off.
Responsibilities:

    • In collaboration with Snr Manager and Associate Director of Design Experience, lead AIA's digital transformation from a design experience perspective
    • Evolve and contribute to best-in-class digital design systems that defines AIA digital experience
    • Be responsible and accountable for the quality of Design Experience solutions and adherence to Design System
    • Design and build simple, easy, yet delightful digital experiences for customers and employees
    • On-time delivery of UX solutions that meets AIA Group standards
    • Collaborate with peers and cross functional teams to execute best-in-class Design based on requirements and project briefing that deliver on both customer and business outcomes
    • Advocate for the customer
  • Design (90%)
    • Consume requirements and both independently and collaboratively manage the creation of UX/UI solutions for assigned projects
    • Production of key design artefacts ranging from initial sketches through to low fi digital wires, prototypes, high fi wires, user flows, IA maps etc.
    • Contribution to Group Digital Design System (component library with guidelines), and help maintain its component quality at the best-in-class
    • Collaborate with Design research, Content design and other UX Design team members on the end to end design process
    • Collaborate with design team members across individual BU's across APAC to shape and deliver best-in class experiences
    • Stay informed and in tune with the latest developments within UX methodologies, best practices, trends etc., and share with the team
    • Work with local BUs to achieve project outcomes in a timely manner
    • Identify opportunities to improve experiences and work with Snr designers to secure support for optimisation efforts
    • Respond to and shape design briefs in support of BU requirements and needs
  • Project Management (10%)
    • Manage UX activities for the assigned projects while meeting the tight deadline and expectations from stakeholders
    • Regularly update stakeholders / PM / lead designers with the progress of planned UX activities
    • Ensure design files follow the specified naming and filing convention

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Have the highest standards in building the best-in-class UX/UI
  • Hands-on design skills with the industry standard tools
  • Updated with the latest UX trends, best practices, and methodologies
  • Must have hands-on knowledge of the end to end development process for digital products
  • Verbal and written presentation skills to communicate the ideas in a clear and concise manner to designers, researchers, writers, technologists, project managers and executives (in English. Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus)
  • Strive to deliver the best possible outcome under time-pressured and challenging circumstances
  • Must be flexible in trying out and adapting new ideas and approaches
  • Comfortable taking in an abstract assignment and shape a path to achieve the goal
  • Must be organized yet flexible to switch rapidly between different projects, and able to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Must be a self-starter and willing to accept tough challenges with a positive attitude
